About the event
Let's chat with Gabriola Island artist Donovan Rose, whose stunning large scale paintings, a series titled Seabirds, will be on display until August 31st.
He has been dedicated to a painting practice since 2010, and his work is now held in private collections across North America. Together with his wife Barclay, they run The Ou Artist Residency and Pelago Footwear LTD the later of which you may recognize - as these handmade leather shoes are also for sale in the shop. Come and ask about the artist residency, his work, his inspiration - and get to know about his journey to where he is today.
